Everyone is invited to help out on "workdays" (although the work does not suit young children.) Wear sturdy shoes and long pants. There is no need to sign up in advance, although groups of more than five should alert the steward so there will be enough tools. You'll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere—and an opportunity to do some good in a beautiful place.
